The top note features the melting fruitiness of La France pear, accented by pink peppercorn. A pink accord of rose and violet unfolds, harmonizing softly with jasmine absolute. The base settles into powdery sandalwood. A luxurious amount of fluffy iris guides the scent to a light, airy finish.

There are two representative varieties of natural rose ingredients used in perfumery.
One is the "Damask Rose," primarily produced in Bulgaria. It is characterized by a powerful and gorgeous scent reminiscent of distilled spirits.
The other is "Rose de Mai" (May Rose), which was once cultivated mainly in Grasse, southern France. It is a pink rose with rich layers of petals, which became the origin of the scientific name Centifolia.
While Damask Rose Essence leaves a vivid impression in the top notes, Rose de Mai Absolute continues softly and gently with a honey-like sweetness dwelling in the flower's pistils.
