Parfum Satori is a fragrance brand produced by Japanese perfumer Satori Osawa.
She has continued to create expressive perfume lines since she opened her Tokyo atelier in 2000. She also designs scents for corporate products, gives lectures, and holds events.

  Born in Tokyo. From childhood, she has carried a pocket-sized picture book on flowers around with her and grew up with a deep appreciation and awareness of the seasonal beauty of nature.

She has learned Kado (art of Japanese-style floral arrangement, Sogetsu school ) and Sado (art of tea ceremony, Urasenke school) since she was 12 years old, and acquired a license as a master/Shi-han of Kado and was bestowed a tea name/Chamei (name given upon a tea ceremony master).

As she grew up, she also learned Kodo (art of Japanese-style incense-smelling ceremony, Sanjonishi Oie-ryu school) and all these backgrounds, the aestetics of Japanese traditions, are incorporated into her creations. She continues to create perfumes with a belief that "Things with Japanese identity is valid globally". ("Things with Japanese identity is valid to global standard".)

Begun to learn perfumery since 1988 and in 1998, studied perfumery in Japan under Mr. Kenji Maruyama, an ex-chief Perfumer of Firmenich, Switzerland.

Opened her own perfume atelier in 2000, start her own perfume brand “Parfum Satori” and launched her collection in 2003.

Her collections are listed as a long-selling item for over 10 years, in the LightUp Shopping Club, a mail order shopping system.

Start selling in Europe and has been featured in local media such as the British Financial Times. In 2018, it was featured in the world's perfume lovers' bible "THE PERFUMES GUIDE" (written by Luca Turin, and Tania Sanchez.) for the first time as an independent Japanese fragrance brand and “Hana Hiraku” was ranked in top 10 New Accord.

In 2019, one of her perfume, Satori in Chatsubo (tea jar), was stored in the International Perfume Museum (Grasse) in France for the first time as a Japanese independent perfumer’s brand.

In 2020, she was appointed as a perfumer for room amenities scent at HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO (Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto) and THE PENINSULA TOKYO (Chuo-ku, Tokyo).

It is said that sense of odor, among the five senses of human, directly reaches to your brain (that is in charge of your emotions and memories). ‘Scent’ has the power to retain and awaken memories and I hope that the scent of Parfum Satori will be with your life.

Twenty years ago when the collection began, generally, perfumes were something ‘for directing oneself’ and were offered as for men and for women in the market. However, recently, the usage of perfume seems to have been changing as something ‘for yourself’.

From the beginning of our collection starts, Parfum Satori has expanded its lineups, while thinking of the scent images as well as the scenes of the users, such as when you are wrapped in freshly washed linens or when you want to feel the slight breeze.

Flowers, trees, fruits, wind, water, light ... A calculation that harmonizes the blessings of nature and bring out beauty, weave, sustain, and diffuse. We have created 20 collections in search of a ‘scent that nestle close to your memory’, hoping that the fragrance created by such ‘techniques of perfumery’ will adjust the rhythm of the life of the user, will bring a time of peace, and will be a clue to be encouraged.

Up to now, it has been widely favored by perfume lovers in Europe, America and Asia.
